Discord Rich Presence
When enabled, the game sends character activity to a compatible local client helper, which publishes the activity through Discord's local RPC connection.

Enable or disable it
- Open the in-game configuration menu with @config.
- Choose Discord Rich Presence under Game Preferences.
- The setting is saved per character. Turning it off stops subsequent presence updates from that character.
Changing maps, character progression/rank updates and the periodic refresh can trigger a new payload.
Activity data
The server prepares a short character status and the current online-player count. The displayed level combines total level and rebirths so that reborn progression remains distinguishable.
Character name | Lv (total level + rebirths x 10,000) | #rank Online player count
The game server sends this data to the client helper; it does not create a Discord activity through a public webhook.
Connection path
- Blackv4 starts a TCP bridge on port 8601 and best-effort sends updates to the connected client associated with the player's IP.
- The Windows client helper receives the frame and passes the activity to Discord through the local Discord IPC pipe.
- The bridge refreshes character activity every minute while the character is online; it also sends on several character state changes.
- The bridge uses a bounded background I/O pool, so a slow client cannot block the shared game tick; under load, updates may be dropped.
What must be running
- The character preference must be enabled.
- The server bridge must have started and the compatible game client helper must be connected.
- Discord desktop must be available to the helper through its local IPC connection.
